We have brought new life to the planet. A bunch of tiny little sea monkeys. This is my first experience with the frenetic mini life forms. I have no idea what they are.
Deduction: they hatch from eggs and live in water, so I'm assuming they are from the species of fish.
Their container is very small so I'm guessing they won't get too big, but what fun to imagine if they outgrew their container and spilled over into the living room and continued growing and found solace in my beautiful bathroom shower, and I had to go upstairs and always use the hold the handle down 'til it flushes all the way potty. And now it's no longer fun. I hope they stay small, but I bet they die. Then we'll have to have a burying ceremony.

They're actually brine shrimp, and eventually they die and stink up the house. Of course.

I've never had sea monkeys, but I can imagine how a child's imagination can make more out of them than what they really are. You should bring your kids to Salt Lake; brine shrimp are the only life in the great salt lake. You can smell them at night; when the lake cools, the night air is filled with the smell of dead monkeys. Them monkeys sure can smell up a city.
I wonder where the depiction of sea monkeys(brine shrimp) as pink family units came from? I never grew my own sea monkey family, but I'd be afraid of getting the box of sea monkeys that where the pink families. I'd have to tell those sea monkeys to stay in the house and keep out of site. I can't begin to imagine the shock and discussed our neighbors would experience, knowing that there where pink monkey family units living so close by. maybe I would take those monkeys to the great salt lake in the middle of the night and tell them to run and frolic in their new home.
Its always good to have a contingency plan for every situation.
Remind me to tell you about the plan I have for when cartoon characters become real and want me to be their leader.
